Uninstalling the Driver

Right click the machine icon, and then click [Remove device]. For Windows XP/Vista or Windows Server 2003/2003 R2/2008, right-click the machine icon, and then click [Delete]. Click [Yes]. The printer driver is uninstalled. Select an arbitrary printer, and then click [Print server properties].

On the [Start]menu, point to [Settings], and then click [Printers]. Click the icon of the printer, and then click [Delete]on the [File]menu. A confirmation message appears. Click [Yes]. The printer driver is uninstalled. Double-click [My computer]. On the [View]menu, click [Folder Options...]. Click the [View]tab.

When you are using GX e2600, open the folder that contains the driver, and then double-click the product Uninstall_product name icon. Click [OK]. A dialog box for entering the user name and password opens. If you click [Cancel], the installation dialog box closes and the printer driver is not uninstalled.

Open Settings>Apps>Apps & Features and click the printer software you want removed. Click Uninstall and follow on-screen instructions to completely remove the printer driver.

I haven't tried Windows 7 yet so this may not help, but have you tried checking (when viewing the installed printers from start button, Printers) File -> Run as Administrator -> Server Properties and then choose the driver tab to find & delete the printer driver in question? This is from memory as I am not in front of my Vista box at the moment.
