  • Paper that is 10pt is 0.01 inches thick, 20pt is 0.02 inches thick, etc. Business cards are great examples of different paper thicknesses. Most business cards are printed on 12 or 14pt cover stock, while extra thick cards are printed on 18pt or 24pt (or thicker) stock.

I'm planning on trying 275gsm next and slowly moving down until i know for sure, but wondered whether anyone could recommend thickness in gsm?

Make the appropriate Paper Size setting, make sure the paper size you select is followed by Manual - Front, for example A3+ (Manual - Front). Note: Borderless printing is not available when Manual - Front is selected. Make the appropriate Orientation setting. Click OK to close the Page Setup dialog box.
