Skyrim VR might need a decent CPU once you start tacking on mods but other than that most VR games should be optimized well enough to do well across a spectrum of processors, and RAM configurations. I could be wrong but Bigscreen could be a problem with your processor if you're hosting a room for a bunch of people since it uses YOUR CPU resources to distribute information to each end user.

12 GB is an odd (in the sense of strange) number for memory. This implies a mixture of chip sizes (8+4) or a literal odd number of chips (3x4). I would consider 16GB to be a minimum if you're looking toward something like Fallout I VR. IMHO, 8GB is no longer enough to cut it in the latest games anymore. I would have gone with more than 16GB in my build if it weren't for the fact it'd add another $100+ to the price.
